Greening Movement "Green Synergy for Muara Gembong"

Greening Movement On Friday, October 16, 2026, CCB Indonesia conducted a mangrove planting activity in the Muara Beting area of Pantai Bahagia Village, Muara Gembong, Bekasi Regency, West Java, planting 6,000 Rhizophora Mucronata mangrove seedlings. The event involved various members of the community, including local residents, volunteers, environmental groups, students and/or college students, and local government officials.

This activity is part of CCB Indonesia¡¯s sustainable reforestation program under its CSR initiative, known as CCB Care, as a demonstration of its commitment to environmental conservation. The initiative aims to have a broader impact on coastal ecosystems and raise public awareness about the importance of protecting the environment, which currently faces serious threats from coastal erosion and a significant decline in environmental quality. The loss of the mangrove greenbelt has led to ecosystem vulnerability, the loss of natural habitats for marine life, a decline in local fishermen¡¯s incomes, and an increased risk of tidal flooding that directly threatens residential areas.
