Cybersecurity Cooperation with BSSN and CSIRT Establishment

As part of China Construction Bank Indonesia commitment to safeguarding information system security and protecting customer data, the Bank officially established cooperation with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) through participation as a member of the Cyber Incident Response Team (CSIRT) in the financial sector in 2025.

The ceremonial event marking this cooperation represents an important milestone in the BankĄ¯s efforts to strengthen cyber resilience and support national cybersecurity initiatives, particularly within the financial services sector. Through this collaboration, the Bank actively contributes to coordinated cyber incident prevention, detection, response, and recovery, as well as structured and secure cyber threat information sharing.

In line with this cooperation, the Bank has also formally established its own Cyber Security Incident Response Team (Bank CSIRT). The Bank CSIRT serves as the central function responsible for managing and responding to cybersecurity incidents, including escalation, mitigation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls.

Through this collaboration, the Bank is committed to:

  • enhancing cyber incident readiness and response capabilities,
  • strengthening the protection of critical systems and information assets,
  • supporting the stability and resilience of the national financial system, and
  • implementing cybersecurity best practices in line with national and international standards.

This cooperation with BSSN forms an integral part of the BankĄ¯s continuous efforts to build a secure, trusted, and resilient banking ecosystem, in line with the evolving cybersecurity landscape and ongoing digital transformation.
